KYC (Know Your Customer) verification is required before you can deposit funds or trade on Fedhabit. It's a regulatory requirement for all crypto exchanges operating in India.
What you'll need:
- A government-issued photo ID (PAN card, Aadhaar, or similar)
- A clear selfie for identity matching
- Proof of address (if requested for higher verification levels)
How it works:
1. Go to your account settings and select "Complete KYC."
2. Upload a clear photo of your ID document. Make sure all four corners are visible and the text is readable.
3. Take a selfie following the on-screen instructions.
4. Submit for review.
Review times:
Most verifications are completed within 24 hours. In some cases, additional checks may take up to 7 days. If your verification is still pending after 7 days, our team will proactively review it, and cases can take up to 14 days in rare situations.
Common reasons for rejection:
- Blurry or unclear document photos
- Document has expired
- Selfie doesn't match the ID photo
- Details on the document don't match your account information
- Duplicate account or document already in use
- Document appears altered or edited
If your KYC is rejected, you'll receive an email explaining the reason. You can resubmit with corrected documents at any time.
